This method, D5391, determines electrical conductivity and resistivity in high purity water samples below 10 μS/cm (above 0.1 Mohm-cm). It's suitable for both continuous and periodic measurements, but water must be flowing for accurate sampling. Static grab sampling isn't applicable. Continuous measurements occur directly in pure water process lines or side stream sample lines, enabling high temperature or pressure sample measurements.
