Chamomile (Matricaria Recutita) is an annual herbaceous plant. The plant is widespread in Eurasia and North America.The root is rod, slightly branched, light brown. The stem is up-straight, 15 to 60 cm high. The leaves are alternate, sessile, somewhat widened at the base. Marginal flowers are with white bent tongues, having a length of 8 to 14 mm and a width of 2.5 to 3 mm; at the end of flowering, the tongues bend down. The inner tubular flowers are golden yellow, much smaller than the reed ones, with a five-lobed nimbus. The fruits are cylindrical, blunt, slightly bent small achenes.
